Cluster 5 Women of the ELCA gathered at First Lutheran on Saturday for their annual fall meeting. Eleven churches from Jackson and Clinton counties were represented. Pastor Judy Heinrich of First Lutheran presided at worship and Holy Communion. After a brief meeting, all gathered to assemble and package meals for Kids Care. Cluster 5 collected over $1400 for the program. This will provide 4000 packaged meals for families in need around the world. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans assisted with shipping expenses.
