The Maquoketa area chapter of Church Women United is hosting World Friendship Day on May 3rd. The annual event encourages women to find ways to grow in relationships and minister to one another. The theme this year is “Swinging Wide the Door of Hospitality”. This year’s May Friendship Day Bible study will be held at St. Mark Episcopal Church at 10 a.m. on April 29; the worship and fellowship event will be at 10 am on May 3, also at St. Mark. All are welcome to attend.
