At worship on March 9 & 10, First Lutheran will lift up the donations of mission quilts made by First Lutheran Women for Lutheran World Relief. Twice yearly, volunteers from First take boxes of quilts to Cedar Rapids for “in gathering” and shipment to LWR facilities. The donations are then further processed before being shipped overseas to communities in need. At worship next weekend, the quilts will be displayed in the Gathering Area. The Women of First are grateful to all for their support of this important ministry.
