Members of First Lutheran and other Maquoketa congregations enjoyed an afternoon of music & live theater at Prospect Park Auditorium on August 5. Fifty-five people participated in the bus trip to the theater in Moline for a matinee performance of Hello Dolly. Char Engstrom played the lead role of Dolly Levi in this Quad City Music Guild production. Char’s husband, Rev. Carl Engstrom served as interim pastor at First Lutheran earlier this year. After the performance, all gathered at The Machine Shed Restuarant in Davenport for a delicious family style meal. This fellowship event was sponsored by First Lutheran’s women’s organization.
