The 2009 film entitled “The Soloist” will be the subject of discussion at a gathering on Sunday, August 25 at 6:00 pm. All are invited to watch the movie and join the conversation. Participants will meet in the Gathering Area at First Lutheran. The discussion will consider the film through a “Lord’s Prayer” perspective. The film is based on a true story about a gifted musician who has a mental illness. He becomes homeless and is befriended by a journalist and who begins to write about him. This film is rated PG-13.
