Residents of Clover Ridge Retirement Community enjoyed an evening of cheerful Christmas music on January 11, courtesy of the First Lutheran Handbell Choir. The program included a selection of traditional Christmas carols, as well as contemporary arrangements augmented with tamborine, drum and cymbals. Residents enjoyed a demonstration of the various ringing techniques employed to achieve unique bell sound effects. A brief fellowship time with hot chocolate and cookies followed. This annual event is cosponsored by the Music and Outreach ministries of First Lutheran.
